Biography:
Hamid Soori is a professor of epidemiology and public health, originally from Iran. He obtained his PhD from the UK and has worked in various countries as a senior lecturer and researcher. He has published over 350 scientific articles in the field of epidemiology. He served as the director of the national committee for the COVID-19 pandemic in Iran and designed a nationwide community-based intervention that was significantly effective in controlling COVID-19.
