Biography:
Pegnontaye Moussa Soro is field coordinator of the Advanced Training Program in Field Epidemiology in Côte d'Ivoire (CIV-FETP) and works for the Ministry of Health at the National Institute of Public Hygiene (INHP). Since graduating from the FETP Advanced Program in Burkina Faso in 2022, he has worked to implement the FETP Advanced Program in Côte d'Ivoire, supporting and mentoring residents whose work has received international acclaim. He draws on his experience gained through the FETP program to learn and share his experience with future FETP residents. He worked on dengue fever in 2024 as part of the APDC grant project and helped discover a co-infection of dengue fever and malaria in the same patient.
