Enhancing patient outcomes across diverse care settings requires greater emphasis on allied health, respiratory nursing & multidisciplinary care. The collaborative roles of respiratory therapists, nurses, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and social workers are increasingly recognized in managing complex pulmonary conditions. Holistic care models that integrate pulmonary rehabilitation, discharge planning, and community follow-up reduce readmissions and improve quality of life. Allied health, respiratory nursing & multidisciplinary care also advances the use of standardized protocols, clinical pathways, and interprofessional communication to ensure continuity and safety. Innovations in task-sharing, telehealth-guided rehabilitation, and remote nursing interventions are enabling wider access to expertise. Ongoing education, professional recognition, and investment in allied roles are critical for building a resilient and responsive respiratory care infrastructure worldwide.
